ENT & Ophthalmology Session: Eye Conditions in general practice – how to recognise and treat
Dr Rebecca Haward is an Ophthalmologist who undertook her specialist training in Melbourne. After completing her medical degree at Monash University, graduating with honours, Rebecca continued her specialty training in the United Kingdom at Bristol Eye Hospital.
Rebecca holds a position at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in their acute and surgical opthalmology clinics and the Eye Emergency Department. She is actively involved in education and training, and the supervision of trainee ophthalmologists. She continues to work in her subspecialty areas of Medical Retina Ocular Immunology (Uveitis), with interest in care of macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and vein occlusions. She is proficient at managing a wide range of general opthalmic conditions, and in performing cataract surgery.
