Cardiometabolic Health Update Session: Chronic Kidney Disease (Diabetic Kidney Disease)

Dr Emma O’Lone is a nephrologist and the Clinical lead for haemodialysis at The Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney Australia. She is also a Clinical Lecturer and a PhD candidate at the University of Sydney. She is a clinical trialist and her main area of interest is cardiovascular disease in end stage kidney disease. As a coordinating committee member of the global Standardised outcomes in Nephrology (SONG) initiative, Emma is leading the cardiovascular collaborative studies to establish standardised core outcome measures for cardiovascular disease in haemodialysis. She has received an NHMRC scholarship for her research, ANZSN Young Investigator Award and has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles.
