Dermatology Update Session: Hyperhidrosis and other sweat gland disorders
Dr Elizabeth Willsteed graduated from Sydney University and trained in Dermatology at Repatriation General Hospital, Concord. She undertook post graduate research at St John’s Hospital for Diseases of the Skin and St Thomas’ Hospital London U.K.Dr Willsteed is in specialist Dermatologists working at the Skin & Cancer Foundation Australia, Darlinghurst. She has an interest in the medical treatment of sweating disorders, including palmar and plantar HH as well as treating axillary and craniofacial sweating. She is an approved Medicare provider of Botulinium Toxin Type A for underarm sweating and is a nationally accredited trainer for the use of this for axillary hyperhidrosis treatment. Dr Willsteed provides a Hyperhidrosis clinic at Darlinghurst on a monthly basis.
