Associate Professor Lynette Mackenzie

Associate Professor Lynette Mackenzie graduated from the Derby School of Occupational Therapy in the UK in 1981. After emigrating to Australia, she was, appointed as the first occupational therapist employed by community health services in Newcastle to implement the Home and Community Care home modifications service in the Hunter region. She moved from clinical work to academic work in 1990 and is currently involved in several research project related to older people in the community, based at the University of Sydney, NSW. She is a chief investigator on the iSOLVE (Integrated SOLutions for sustainable fall prevention) project which took place in partnership with North Sydney Primary Health Network.
